Isabel Sands
PC 2021
Isabel first started arranging when she was 13, when she wrote a string orchestra arrangement of The Amazing Spider-Man theme as an ode to her celebrity crush, Andrew Garfield. Since then, she has developed a passion for the film score genre and has conceded that Tom Holland is actually the one true Spider-Man. Her favorite score is Hans Zimmer's "Interstellar", and her favorite composers include Michael Giacchino, Ramin Djawadi, Alexandre Desplat, and Max Richter. Her favorite instrument is the harpsichord, and her least favorite is every instrument she gave 100+ measures of rest in the Wes Anderson Suite (i.e. every instrument that isn't a harpsichord :p)
